Rodger Goodell is all about expanding and making the NFL world-wide. Goodell has made it known that he wants teams in Los Angeles and London. When being asked which was place was higher on the to-do list he said "It doesn't matter".
There are a few issues that I see with putting a team back in London. For one, putting a team in London is great and everything, but are there enough talented players as is to even make a decent team? You see other teams struggling with the players they can get. I don't really see any QB that could be decent for the London team. Also keep in mind that players coming into the draft more than likely don't want to make the long trip to move and adapt to London lifestyle. Lastly, the scheduling would be terrible. There are so many components that could affect schedules like weather, travel time, and time zones. I think the NFL should just keep the three games a year like they usually do.
As for a team in Los Angeles, the same issue with finding good enough players. Other than that I think it would be a great idea for L.A. to have a team. Los Angeles used to have a team and then it all fell apart and the Raiders moved to Oakland.
It will be interesting to see what the NFL and Rodger Goodell do. I don't think it will happen anytime soon as there is a lot that has to be planned for it to happen. Do you think that having two more teams would be good for the league?
