Last night, QB Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers injured his shoulder in the opening drive of the game. Rodgers landed on his left shoulder after being sacked by bears DE Shea McClellin.
Sources close to the Packers have said that the injury doesn't look good. As of now, they don't have a specific diagnosis for Rodgers shoulder injury. Based on how it sounds, Rodgers could be missing the rest of the season. He will undergo more tests and an MRI.
Green Bay can't afford to lose Rodgers at this time in the season. They are fighting for their division and without Rodgers, I don't see them getting it done. The Packers have been plagued with injuries this season. Currently, the only QB that the Packers have left is Seneca Wallace who threw an interception and no touchdowns in last nights game. With Rodgers out, it will be interesting to see who the Packers will sign at the QB position.
